USING PILLOWS (IN RED) CAN HELP PREVENT FALLING INTO POOR  POSTURE (see illustration below)

Figure "A" = Correct Posture (ear, shoulder & hip in a straight line)

Figure "B" = Poor Posture  (ear, and shoulder are forward in relation to the hip)

*Use a rolled towel to determine the most comfortable size & shape for the pillow.

** Use of a wedge shaped pillow or tilting the seat forward (if your chair allows) positions the knees lower than the hips.  This allows the spine to aligns naturally.

Figure "B" shows that when the knees are level with the hips the low back tends to round and the head moves forward.  This causes strain through the spine.
